The Voluntary System of Accountability is designed to improve public understanding of how public colleges and universities operate. The University of Georgia was among the first institutions to join this program.

Student Learning Outcomes Assessment

The University of Georgia addresses effectiveness and quality by employing a comprehensive system of evaluation and planning in every major aspect of the institution, including assessment of student learning.

 Academic Affairs Policy 4.12-1 defines the purpose, roles, responsibilities, criteria for good practice, and reporting requirements for the systematic assessment of student learning outcomes in all educational programs at the University.
